Matjaž Črv has more than 20 years of professional experience, making him one of the most respected members of the NIL sales team. He started his career as an engineer and he also worked in research and development. Over the years, he has evolved into a collaboration technologies expert. On this path of professional and personal development, he realized that IT technology by itself can solve certain issues; however, the key to leveraging its full potential lies in understanding the client’s business needs and motives.
Joining the sales team in 2013 was therefore a natural step on his career path. As a business development manager, he is primarily responsible for bringing together the client’s business requirements, technology options, and sales goals. He always tries to explain the technical solution to the customer in a clear and understandable way—meaning through the perspective of the solution’s benefits and its impact on the work of end users: higher productivity, improved resource utilization, better collaboration and, eventually, money saved. In spotting new business opportunities, Matjaž relies on his two personal mottos: “Always pay attention to what the client has to say” and “Fully commit yourself to finishing a task”.
Matjaž is married and has two sons and a daughter. The whole family is devoted to cross-country skiing. His sons are successful competitors, which means that the family’s weekends are fully booked with competitions, travelling to and watching races.
