MDR Engineering Manager

Edi Belca began his cybersecurity career as a student at NIL in 2019, working in the SOC department. Over the years, he gained extensive experience by performing nearly every role within the SOC, starting as a T1 analyst on 24/7 shifts, then advancing to a T2 analyst handling escalations in operations and investigating more complex cases. Simultaneously, he took responsibility for Fidelis EDR within the SOC and later became the technical lead for Elastic SIEM, which remains a key component of the MDR service. Eventually, he was promoted to MDR Engineering Manager for the MDR service, where he oversees the development, automation, integration, and product support teams.
