NIL, as an F5 Managed Service Provider, is expanding its range of application security services
Obtaining the SME status enables organisations to utilise the advanced capabilities of the F5 Distributed Cloud platform as a managed service, which is fully provided and managed by NIL. This allows businesses to implement state-of-the-art security capabilities more quickly, without the need for additional investment in dedicated infrastructure or specialist expertise.
NIL has been awarded F5 Managed Service Provider (MSP) status, thereby building on its long-standing partnership with F5 and expanding its range of services for the protection of web applications and APIs, as well as the availability of digital services.
Achieving the MSP status enables organisations to utilise the advanced capabilities of the F5 Distributed Cloud platform as a managed service, fully provided and managed by NIL. This allows businesses to deploy modern security capabilities more quickly without the need for additional investment in dedicated infrastructure or specialist expertise.
The new managed web application and API protection service offered by NIL combines key functionalities for protection against modern cyber threats, including web application protection (WAF), API protection, defence against malicious bots and DDoS attack mitigation.
The F5 Distributed Cloud platform also includes advanced capabilities for detecting web application vulnerabilities, protecting the user-facing side of applications, global traffic routing, distributed content delivery, and the secure interconnection of applications and networks across data centres and various cloud environments.
By expanding its partnership with F5, NIL is further strengthening its role as a provider of managed security services and helping organisations to deliver more secure, more available, and more resilient digital services.
