Vid Rupnik has five years of experience in the field of cybersecurity. He began his career at NIL as a cybersecurity analyst, where he spent more than two years developing defensive capabilities at the SOC, ranging from incident detection and threat analysis to responding to security incidents.
In recent years, he has been working in the offensive security team as an offensive security consultant, where he participates in various security activities, including penetration testing, DDoS testing, social engineering, and other related tasks. He has further validated his knowledge and experience with industry certifications such as GRPT and CPTS.
The combination of his experience in both defensive and offensive environments gives him a realistic perspective on how attackers operate, enables him to effectively emulate attack scenarios, and allows him to provide practical advice on vulnerability remediation.
