With prior experience in the fields of information security, software development, and project management, Boštjan joined NIL in 2017 with a vision to establish a Security Operations Center (SOC). Today, as part of the Conscia Group, the SOC operates successfully on an international level. He actively designed and developed technical services that are part of the Security Operations Center; as a technical lead, he onboarded new organizations, and as a technical account manager, he provided technical support and expert guidance to key clients. He has carried out security operations and successfully managed complex security challenges in the modern digital environment. He took on the role of technical lead for incident response, where he successfully mitigated attacks and helped protect companies across various sectors. In addition to technical pre-sales activities, he has also led independent security projects in the Middle East and across Europe (EMEA region).

Boštjan remains committed to strengthening security in organizations and is a key player in ensuring protection against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. As a specialist, he focuses on security auditing, assessment, and hardening of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
