Cybersecurity Analyst

Gregor Trošt is a cybersecurity consultant at NIL, where he helps organizations manage security risks and implement comprehensive GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) approaches.

He began his career at NIL as an analyst in the Security Operations Center (SOC), where he worked on detecting and responding to cyber incidents. Prior to that, he served as a systems administrator in IT environments, and before that, he worked in mechanical engineering as an R&D engineer and project manager.

Today, he focuses on information security management, particularly in the areas of ISO standards. He participates in conducting security assessments, establishing control mechanisms, and developing processes for risk management and compliance.

In his role as Deputy CISO, he helps shape security strategies and implement management and operational security practices.

In his free time, he enjoys cave diving, where discipline and systematic approach play a key role, just as they do in cybersecurity.
