Key Account Manager (M/F) in the Education Department

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Understanding the specific needs of clients and, based on these, developing realistic projects of appropriate profitability, where client expectations are met,
  • developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and vendors,
  • finding new sales markets,
  • finding new large and medium-sized customers,
  • developing new sales programs and refreshing existing ones,
  • independently performing sales activities in line with company policy and business strategy,
  • negotiating with clients, assisting in the coordination of offers and contracts,
  • drafting commercial terms and conditions of sale proposals,
  • preparing concrete offers and contracts for clients,
  • implementing sales and marketing policy in cooperation with superiors,
  • monitoring technical developments in the company’s business,
  • reporting on plans and results to the company’s management,
  • preparing sales activities in line with the company’s sales strategy,
  • general commercial and technical training in the company’s business and in all the technologies included in the company’s sales program,
  • other duties as assigned by superiors.


Expected knowledge and competences:

Candidates are expected to focus on the realization of strategic objectives, to be client-focused, to communicate and coordinate relationships between different stakeholders and to communicate clearly the expected objectives:

  • knowledge of MS Office tools and general computer skills.

Job conditions:

  • at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant social science or other relevant discipline,
  • at least 5 years’ experience in a similar function,
  • a Cisco Sales Expert or other sales qualifications required by the equipment suppliers,
  • excellent written and spoken English.
